Sweet and Sour Beef Stew Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
* 2 lbs. stewing beef, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
* 1/4 c. flour
* 1 tsp. salt
* 1/8 tsp. pepper
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 1 c. chopped onion
* 6 lg. carrots, cut in 3/4 inch pieces
* 1/4 c. brown sugar
* 1/2 c. vinegar
* 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

PREPARATION:
Mix flour, salt, and pepper; dredge beef with mixture. Heat oil in skillet and brown meat on all sides. Place carrots in bottom of slow cooker; add meat and onions. Combine remaining ingredients and add to slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours. Serve with hot cooked noodles or rice.
Serves 6 to 8.
